AITAH for telling my teacher my concerns about another student in the heat of the moment
this story is very complicated so im gonna try explaining it as simple as i can while trying to get all the important details in:
i (15F) was panicking at school because my ex (16-17M) made the decision to disclose every detail about our relationship to his friends and so i went to my teachers office to simply confide in her and calm down
in the heat of the moment though i tangent off into me and my ex’s relationship and how he was doing really creepy things and may have a small potential to be weird to one of the freshman (14F, referring to her as E)
my teacher and i agree to tell this to E to simply just be aware of the situation that may be at hand and gave my ex the benefit of the doubt, and my teacher had also given me the option to tell our supervising director myself, but i decided not too because i didnt think my ex was that extent of a threat and E just needed to be aware
later in two weeks i talk to my ex about some of our unresolved resentments and what we were able to conclude was that, i did some shitty things to him like shit talking him, he did some shitty things to me like making me be sexual with him, and most importantly he wasnt a pedophile in any sorts, and we became chill (he has a strong asian fetish that he’s very proud of though…)
the next day i go to that same teacher from before to make sure she knows that my ex isnt that extent of a weirdo, but then she tells me that she already told our director.
at the end of the school day i find out our director had confronted my ex and E, so my ex confronts me about how i deliberately tried to ruin his life and how i shouldnt have told anyone my concerns since they shouldnt have been concerns in the first place
and looking back i may have been too quick to assume things based off what he said, but when i showed him i was confused and a bit weirded out he only ever acknowledged what he said in the moment but never made effort to clear ir up
i immediately apologize because i understand what this mean for him and i shouldve clarified and cleared things up with him before telling E anything and that ill try to fix what ive done to his reputation
he then says that he heard i was just saying he wanted to rape E or assault her, and all of the sudden- he begins to justify his (valid) feelings by stating “getting accused of rape is equivalent to a woman getting raped”
i had never accused him of rape or suggested that at all even when talking to E and my teacher, all i said he just has strange tendencies 😭😭
