Am I the A**hole for not letting my boyfriend (40yr) use my credit card, ie hand it over to him to use.
We have been together for 2.5 years. We do not live together or share any financial costs. (He prefers to live alone and will never move in with anyone, which i respect). He doesnt want to get a credit card because he wants to keep his expensese low, but now wants to buy music festival tickets and they dont accept debit cards (I also cant be with him to make the transaction because ticket sales go live at a time when I have an important meeting at work).
He wont tell me how much money he has in the bank and says that is irrelevant. He compares me lending him my credit card to lending me a drill. I have suggest he get a “free” crredit card but says its just takes more time and effort when it would just be easier to give him mine.
