AITAH – Am I justified at being mad? My partner thinks I’m crazy…
Repost to clean up redactions *yawn*
I’m going to C&P the synopsis I had to write up. Note: I have added details that your average person would not be able to because I have a source that gives them to me.
TL;DR
-Hispanic male & female deliver drivers drove into my yard and got stuck in the grass/mud
-Spun the tires repeatedly while panicking’ try to flee after I came outside.
-Refused identification or insurance when requested
-Cops came and arresed male for a warrant, female got a ticket for no driver’s license

Virginia
Delivery was made of TRACKING NUMBER by delivery driver(s):
MALE REDACTED
and
FEMALE REDACTED
FEMALE REDACTED was driving the delivery vehicle without a license and drove her car into my front yard, ultimately getting stuck in the mud.
MALE REDACTED delivered the package to my porch while FEMALE REDACTED spun her tires in the mud while attempting to dislodge the vehicle.
I stepped outside to see what was happening and MALE REDACTED went back and started pushing on the vehicle while FEMALE REDACTED continued to make deeper ruts in the yard.
MALE REDACTED became panicked, begged me not to call the police, and asked me to help remove his vehicle from my yard. MALE REDACTED offered to pay me money for my help and for the damages. I asked for ID or insurance with the help of my phone translator and was refused.
I declined MALE REDACTED’s offers and advised I was calling the police at which point he decided that he no longer spoke English and frantically attempted to dislodge his vehicle and flee with his pregnant wife.
Police arrived and ultimately arrested MALE REDACTED on an outstanding warrant that he had out of REDACTED County, Virginia for his failure to appear on an underlying charge of obstruction of justice. No insurance was located or provided.
FEMALE REDACTED was charged with driving without a license and escorted off the property.
Lastly, I was then also forced to hire a tow truck to come remove their vehicle from my yard.
So now I’m left with:
-Repairing the damage to the yard (my house deductible is so dumb high)
-Hiring a tow truck to remove their car (already done)
-Taking off time to testify in court
-Wondering what warrants the next deliver driver may have (I don’t really lose sleep over this, life happens I guess, I’m more concerned for folks that may be more vulnerable)
Who am I even justified at being mad at? My partner thinks I’m crazy for being mad at all…
