My Husband Took a ‘Family Trip’ With His BM and cheated So I Played the Same Game Better.
Trust! I never thought I’d be the woman writing something like this, but here we are. I’m married. Calm. Loyal. The kind of wife men swear they want once they’re “done with the streets.” My husband has kids with his ex, and when one of them hit a big milestone, they planned a long family trip together… just him, his ex, and the kids. No me. He told me it was innocent. Just parenting.
Just memories. I didn’t fight it or argue. I watched… While he was gone, something felt off. When they came back, I checked his phone… and that’s when I saw Messages between him and his ex that crossed every line… not just emotional. Videos everything!
And the part that really burned? Him telling her I didn’t have anybody. That I didn’t have a roster. That I wasn’t going anywhere…Nobody want me, That’s when I laughed. Because who… lol please he must’ve forgotten who i was before marriage. Men really think marriage means women stop having options… like just because we calmed down, we suddenly forgot how to move.
So my kids were out of school his Included. I sent the kids away for two weeks… one week with my mom, one with his. Very intentional. Then I called an old college friend… rich, successful, someone I’d known for years who i still talk to. We went out… we talked… we connected… and yes, things crossed a line… but that line had already been crossed long before me.
I knew my husband was coming home from work and When my husband came home early from work and realized what was happening in his house, he walked in while i was riding lets call him rell and baby the meltdown was immediate. He started Yelling, crying, and begging the same man who told another woman I had no one and cheated suddenly couldn’t hold himself together… My friend got up and left and kissed me before he left and told me to handle that which caused my husband to run in the room like the little bch he is. My husband broke down in the bathroom, saying he wanted a divorce… I told him that was fine.
And then I reminded him… I had proof. Messages. Receipts.
Everything showing he cheated first…That’s when the anger switched to panic… He got loud and got out the shower pushing me and i ran out the bathroom and got one of his belts and pulled a “this christmas” on him if you know the movie you already know what im talking about. Before he touched me again i whi!!ed his a$$ with the belt? Now all the sudden He’s quiet.
Polite watching his tone, watching his step. He buying gifts everything. Because he finally understands something men hate learning the hard way… Just because a woman is married doesn’t mean she’s trapped…Just because she’s calm doesn’t mean she’s powerless… And just because you cheated quietly doesn’t mean you won’t feel it loudly…Why do men swear women “don’t have options” until they realize they were never the only one?
