Aitah for reacting this way after my roommates went into my room and recorded me and my child in my room while he was asleep?
After I got behind on my rent my slumlord told my roommates that she wants me out by friday. But she never took me to court for it. She then gossiped about me to the other roommates and allowed them to gang up on me.
My roommate was originally standing in the hallway waiting for me to come out of the bathroom while my son was asleep. Then when I came out of the bathroom she and one of the guy roommates were standing there watching me as if they were waiting for me to come out.
Then she said “You know you have to be out by friday right?” Then I saw her start recording me and she even admitted that she was recording me and she did not care and then she followed me into my room as I ran to my room.
She then forced the door open as I was trying to close the door and then that was when I put my hand on her phone camera lense and then she told me not to touch her phone and I said “Then don’t touch my door! You are recording me and my child!” Then she walked past me and walked all the way into my room so she can record my whole room and my child. She also told me that she has a witness about me touching her phone (i didnt actaully want her phone i wanted her to stop recording me) she also threatened to slap me and said “If you touch my phone again I will slap you.”
And when I threatened to call the cops she did not care and said “Call them and I will call them too and tell them that you touched my phone and that you don’t pay rent here.” After she finally got out of my room she kicked my door after I locked it.
After I told the slumlord what the roommate did she did not care and she said “They have lots of pictures of you and your child. The house is tired of you.”
A few months ago another one of the former roommates threatened to shoot me but he got kicked out after that. The slumlord took my side for that situation and even helped me file a police report on him. But now this new lady roommate has been bullying me and the slumlord allowed it. She also has a habbit of being unproffessional by sending the other roommates screenshots of their complaints about each other.
